Conférence (en anglais) de Tania Prill et Sebastian Cremers

Hans-Rudolf Lutz a été formé à Bâle par Emil Ruder et Robert Büchler. Il a publié, écrit, illustré et produit des livres sur l’art et le langage de la communication visuelle. Son travail a influencé la manière dont le graphisme et la typographie réagissent en fonction des changements culturels et sociaux. Sebastian Cremers et Tania Prill présenteront une sélection de son travail, ainsi que leur réédition de la publication The Miami Herald et leur dernier livre 336 pages 336 books.

Tania Prill a fondé en 2010 avec Alberto Vieceli le studio de design graphique Prill & Vieceli (aujourd’hui Prill Vieceli Cremers). Son travail a notamment été récompensé par le Prix Jan Tschichold, et au Concours suisse de design. Tania Prill enseigne le graphisme depuis 1996 dans différentes écoles en Suisse et à l’étranger. Elle est professeur de typographie à l’université d’art et de design de Brême et y dirige avec Samuel Nyholm le master ”From Aleph to Eternity“. Elle a été mariée à Hans-Rudolh Lutz, dont elle gère le fonds et les archives.

Sebastian Cremers a étudié le design graphique à la Rietveld Academie et enseigne à Zurich et à l’étranger. Associé du studio Prill Vieceli Cremers depuis 2010, il a fondé en 2012 la plateforme éditoriale “every edition“.

Hans-Rudolf Lutz studied in Basel under Emil Ruder and Robert Büchler. He edited, wrote, illustrated and produced books about visual communication art and language. His body of work influenced the awareness how typography and communication design react upon social and cultural changes. Besides a selection of his work, Sebastian Cremers and Tania Prill are going to present their reissue of the publication The Miami Herald and their latest book 336 pages 336 books.

In 2010 Tania Prill founded the Swiss design studio Prill & Vieceli (now: Prill Vieceli Cremers) together with Alberto Vieceli. Her works have been awarded with the Jan Tschichold Preis and the Swiss Design Award amongst others. Since 1996 Tania Prill teaches communication design at universities in Switzerland and abroad. She is professor of typography at the University of Arts and Design Bremen and runs the MA-Studio ”From Aleph to Eternity“ together with Samuel Nyholm. She was married to Hans-Rudolf Lutz and takes care of his estate.

Sebastian Cremers studied design at the Rietveld Academie and teaches communication design in Zurich and abroad. Since 2010 partner of the Swiss design studio Prill Vieceli Cremers. 2012 he founded the publishing platform “every edition“.
